March 19, 2008 (Sawf News) - Ashley Paige presented her swimwear and bikini collection at Mercedes-Benz Fall 2008 Los Angeles Fashion Week at Smashbox Studios, CA, March 13.



George Clooney's girl friend, Sarah Larson and Caroline D'Amore walked the runway at the show.

Talking about Sarah a rep for Ashley told People, "She was our special guest model, and yes she was booked as a model two days before the show. Of course we knew it would be press-worthy, but more importantly she's a fan of the label and she was a perfect fit for the show. She was a total delight to work with and she was professional. Just like any other model."




Ashley Paige grew up in Pansacola, Florida. At age 18 she moved to Los Angeles to pursue a career in fashion designing. She started designing and selling a small collection of bikinis while studying for her Bachelors in Marketing and fashion design. She then moved to New York and became a freelance designer.




Ashley returned to Los Angeles and launched her own line of lingerie and swimwear. Her bikinis have graced the bodies of celebrities like Kate Hudson, Christina Aguilera, Liv Tyler, Carmen Electra and Ashanti.

Her designs have been showcased in prime fashion magazines such as Vogue, Illustrated Weekly and In Style.




Her line sells in sixty boutiques nationwide which include prestigious Saks Fifth Avenue and Henri Bendels. She has her own boutiques in Hollywood and Cahuenga Blvd in Los Angeles.



Ashley says, "I think the women who like my stuff are very comfortable with themselves and exude sexuality."

(Sawf News) - Amir Slama presented his Rosa Cha bikini and swimwear Spring 2008 collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, September 8, 2007. Those seated in the front row included Ivana Trump and Mena Suvari.

Brazilian born Amir Slama of Iraqi Jewish heritage is the designer and owner of Brazilian beach fashion brand Rosa Cha.

Son of a textile business man, Amir was a History professor before turning to fashion industry.

He started Rosa Cha with the help of his wife. He won Brazil's Best Designer of the Year award in 2002.

Victoria's Secret model, Naomi Campbell has been modeling for Rosa Cha runway collections since the time she first visited Amir's shop in Sao Paulo and became friends with him.

Rosa Cha, a popular name in fashion community, has been written about in top fashion magazines such as Vogue, Harper's Bazaar, Elle, W Magazine, Cosmopolitan and Sport Illustrated among others.

April 25, 2008 (Sawf News) - Gottex designer Gideon Oberson presented his bikini and swimwear Spring/Fall 2008 collection at Mercedes-Benz New York Fashion Week, September 6, 2007.

The colorful and stylish 2008 collection called Brazilian Bond Girls is a show stopper. Its all about fusion, said Oberson, "fusion of cultures and fusion of colors. The strength and edginess of the legendary Bond Girls mixed together with the festive colors and shapes of Carnival"

Prominent colors in the collection were yellow and black, white, black, iris and brown. It included black tulip print, floral print, terra print. The featured styles included one-pieces- cut-out, bandeau, halter, high-neck, one-shoulder and deep-v.



Oberson, born in Scio, Uicenza, Italy, studied fashion in Paris. He has lived and worked in Israel for many years now, creating collections with a powerful international appeal.
